Bettersizer S2-WD particle size analyzer is an intelligent dual-purpose particle size analyzer. Dry dispersing system adopts Venturi dispersing effect to ensure that powders are in complete dispersing state when pass test window by the way of shear, inertia, collision etc. The instrument has outstanding characteristics including accurate and reliable, good repeatability, easy operating, fast test speed, wide test range, etc. It is a new generation of particle size analyzer integrated dual lenses technology and intelligent test technology, which especially suits large enterprises, universities and colleges, research institutes and key laboratories to use.

Repeatability

Excellent repeatability is achieved thanks to:

About Repeatability

Repeatability is primary index of particle size analyzer. It is worthless for particle size analyzer if repeatability is not good. Repeatability is related to the instrument, also, related to the operator, voltage, water quality and interference. It is a reflection of integrated factors

Reliable performance and easy operation

Reliable performance is achieved thanks to:

- Use of high quality components.

- Components are inspected and recorded for traceability. A 48-hour failure test before instruments leaves the factory.

- Use of advanced technologies such as dry burning-resistant ultrasonic, auto alignment, dew-point temperature detecting and others

- Comply with CE, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and ISO 9001-2008 certification.

Easy operation:

Just adding the sample, the system will automatically perform the analysis, including routines as water supply, dispersion, circulation, concentration adjustment, test, draining, cleaning, print report and saving data. If the concentration is high, the system will dilute automatically. If the concentration is low, the system will show “add sample”, to guarantee that the concentration always is at an adequate level. The complete automation is not only for easy of use, more importantly, it reduces the errors caused by human factors and providing consistent results.

Unique technology for reliable quality

Dual lenses optical system (DLOS):

Dual lenses optical system (DLOS) is a patented technology invented by Bettersize. Dual lenses optical system (DLOS) integrates forward, lateral and backward scattering; detection quantity of scattered lights will be doubled. Compare with single lens laser particle size analyzer, it improves detection range, test precision for fine particles and resolution. Compare with dual beam particle size analyzer, it improves performance reliability.

Auto alignment technology:

The auto alignment system invented by Bettersize is composed of stepping motor, precise guide rail, subdivision controller and software system. The minimum step is 1.3 micron, which ensures that the focus of laser beam always irradiates the center of the detector and improves the accuracy of the result.

Powerful software:

Use of Mie scattering theory and free mode inversion algorithm to obtain accurate particle size distribution. Use of the exclusive “project” concept to save results and multi-language function to easily change languages. The software provides safety management function, when enabled, the use of password is required to login into the software.

Reliable circulating and dispersing system:

The wet circulating and dispersing system of Bettersizer S2-WD included anti-dry ultrasonic disperser, centrifugal circulating pump, auto water supply system, auto drainage and overflow system, applies to all kinds of samples. Dry feeder adopts Venturi dispersion, which ensures that sample can be dispersed completely and ensures accuracy and repeatability of the test.
