Introduction of BeVision W1

BeVision W1 dynamic image particle size and shape analysis system adopts sheath technology, it has the functions of stirring, ultrasonic dispersing, etc. Just put the sample into the beaker for making suspension liquid in definite concentration, and particle size analysis could be carried out. When shoot the images, the computer recognizes and processes the particles quickly in the meantime, and the screen displays the images, particle size and particle shape data for each particle in real time. Analysis results includes L/D ratio and circularity for reflecting particle shape, particle size distribution, typical value and the largest particle value for reflecting particle size, specific interval contents, contents of less than or more than a definite particle size, specified equivalent particle size, etc. The system has the characteristics of imaging clearly, fast analysis speed, easy operating, accurate and reliable result, etc. It provides a high precision analysis method for study, production and application of abrasive, medicine, high performance metal powder materials, battery materials, rod-like and acicular materials.

Application of BeVision W1

-Applies to the samples which distribution ranges are narrow(Dmax:Dmin≤30).

-Abrasive: Such as silicon carbide, corundum, diamond, garnet, etc.

-Battery material: Spherical graphite powder, etc.

-Metal powder: spherical aluminum powder, lead-tin alloy powder, other atomized metal powders.

-Nom-metallic powder: Such as glass beam, polystyrene, etc.

-Acicular powder: Such as wollastonite, etc.

Repeatability

Excellent repeatability is achieved thanks to:

- Stable and effective feeding system.

- Stable and reliable CCD image transmission system.

- Intelligent software can identify over 10000 particles per minute, automatic reorganization of

agglomerated powder to achieve accurate results.

About Repeatability

Repeatability is primary index of particle size analyzer. It is worthless for particle size analyzer if repeatability is not good. Repeatability is related to the instrument, also, related to the operator, voltage, water quality and interference. It is a reflection of integrated factors.

Accuracy

Excellent accuracy is achieved thanks to:

-Adopts high speed CCD, which can shoot 100 images per second, and can analyze more than 10 thousand particles per minute.

-Through the scale to calibrate the accuracy of the system, so analysis result is accurate and reliable

-Complete sample preparation, and has the functions of stirring, dispersing and so on. Adopts fluid focusing technology, precision plunger pump technology, fast recognition technology of particle image, etc. -To filter agglomerate or adhesive particles through the function of recognizing connected particles, in order to avoid that the test result is affected.

c) Use the scale to verify accuracy and convert the pixel to actual size during the test and analysis.

Reliable performance is achieved thanks to:

Easy operation: Auto inflow, auto feeding, continuous test, conversion of report format, etc. It will take only ten minutes to learn and the result will not be affected because of different operators. High speed CCD can reflect real shape of particle from different sides. It is beneficial to calculate the real feature of particles.

Unique technology for reliable quality

Liquid focusing and imaging theory:

Two streams have been designed in the line. One is sample stream and the other is sheath stream. The particles which are ejected from sample tube to sheath tube, together with effluent sheath stream around them, flow through shooting area. The sheath around the particles forces the particles aligning in a queue, and high-speed camera shoots the queue of particles when passes shooting area. As the queue of particles is just on the focal plane of the lens, so the phenomenon of defocus does not happen, and the images of the particles shooting at this time are very clear. When shoot images, the computer recognizes and processes the particles quickly in the meantime, and the screen displays the images, particle size and particle shape data for each particle in real time.

Recognize connected particles: The main purpose of the  function is to filter agglomerate or adhesive particles, in order to avoid that test result is affected. Connected particles refer to agglomerate particles forming by two or more than two adhesive particles. The feature of connected particles is that there is sunken area in particle image. Through judging the size, depth and angle of the sunken area, connected particles can be recognized.

Software system: The function of BeVision W1 software system is very powerful. Herein, the report of BeVision W1 analysis results has three formats which are image + table + histogram, image + histogram and table + histogram. Users could select each of them according to their requirements, or edit other formats. The report can be converted to the format of PDF, BMP, Word, Excel and so on easily, which is convenient for communication such as E-mail, etc.
